Welcome

European Flight Training Academy is a modern Swedish flight school, located at Bromma airport and Nyköping. We put the student in focus by utilizing the latest advances in pedagogy and technology. EFTA instructors and staff have broad aviation backgrounds and experience. EFTA is a member of IAAP (International Association of Aviation Personnel Schools).
Along with our existing airline clients and pilots, you will find our combination of flight training interesting. We have put emphasis on a modern educational environment with your passion for flight and individual development at heart.
“I appreciated above all EFT flexibility and desire to meet student needs”, Sven Rahm, Dean Primera Air. Participated EFTA TRI / SFI instructor course Boeing 737.
Theory classes are conducted in the EFTA facility across from Bromma airport. You can expect a classroom setting for roll-playing and concessions for breaks. We have two Paper Tigers for your use to practice technical procedures before you enter the simulator. Below to the right is a mock-up of a Boeing B737 and Airbus A320 that creates a cockpit environment.
Basic flight training takes place at Skavsta Airport in Nyköping. Our facility at Skavsta Airport is equipped with Piper Cherokee PA28s and all other material you need to conduct a flight. Nyköping Airport provides an environment for both aspiring airline pilots and private pilots to take the first steps towards their career.
.
EFTA multi-engine course is located in beautiful Kalmar. Our facility in Kalmar is equipped with the Diamond DA42aircraft and all material you need to conduct a flight. The Diamond DA42 is a high-tech aircraft that features a glass cockpit offering you an exciting flight experience.

EFTA’s simulators, used for the Professional Pilot Program, are located at partner sites in Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen.
The final step in the complete airline pilot training consists of 4-6 takeoffs and landings in the aircraft type (number depends on experience in aircraft class). This is done by our partners who operate the Boeing B737 and Airbus A320.
